Due to huge temps of population growth and global development of human civilization, irreversible climate change and disturbance of stable processes in the biosphere of our planet occur. This game covers serious issues in an ironic form. If you enjoy escape rooms, you will love this for sure, and play it with a friend for added fun.Ī review code for Escape Simulator was provided by Nerd Pirates on Behalf of Pine Studio.1000 days to escape is a space arcade simulator. Escaping an Escape Room from the comfort of your home in the way it was intended. The best way I can describe this game is an escape room without the embarrassment of going overtime and for a fraction of the price. Also, the co-op adds more fun to the game, but it is still a good time as a solo experience, and I would recommend it for any looking for a puzzle fix. I liked this as it was a fun nod to each theme and made the game more appealing.Ĭurrently, I haven’t tried making my own room because I am pretty lazy when it comes to creating rooms, but I am looking forward to seeing what others have created as I see myself playing the game here and there for that Escape Room pick me up. For example, one of the Egyptian levels was a mix between an archaeological site with notes, books and tools all over. Each theme uses items, scenery like players were actually in one of the themes with nothing looking out of place. Space did seem a tad odd, but it was pretty close to science, so I could forgive it. The three themes that have been chosen are perfect as they seem like Escape Room themes, especially the Mansion and Egypt. To add to the challenge, every room has a set amount of time it should be completed in, but I wouldn’t worry so much about it as I never realised it till later, and even then, I ran out of time and was still able to complete the room. The tokens don’t do anything special, but they are fun to find plus, it fits the whole vibe of the game with having to solve puzzles and finding a key. Not all items player’s see are going to be needed, but it will be worth picking up everything you find and inspecting it you never know what it may contain.Īlong with solving the main puzzle within each room, players have the opportunity to find tokens. If you are like me, you will be picking up everything and anything, hoping it is useful to the solution. This is also what makes Escape Simulator so addictive, is that I can play one room a day or play five in a day there is no limit to the amount a person can play and when they play them.īecause each puzzle is in a room, the levels can feel small at times, but this doesn’t make it easy, but instead sometimes makes it harder to get a grasp on what to look for. Besides the three main themes in the game, players can create their own Escape Rooms or play the community rooms adding endless hours of replayability. Some of the rooms were easy, and others were a tad harder, but currently, I have played one room from each of the three themes (Egypt, Space, Mansion). Like a proper Escape Room, players need to search the room for clues, with each clue leading to the next and so on, until they are able to escape. Luckily each room offers hints for players if they do get stuck, but at the start, I didn’t even realise they were hints (even though they were telling me what to do and I was doing them). The puzzles can take about 20 minutes each, possibly longer, depending on how fast players realise what they are doing. Choosing from three different types of themes, each with five different puzzles. But how is the home experience compared to the real thing? Like any simulator, this is as close to the real thing we will get.Įscape Simulator is a first-person puzzle-solving game where one or two players are put in a room and are tasked with finding the key and escaping the room. Now I finally had the chance to experience Escape Rooms in the comfort of my own home. If there was ever a game that encapsulated the feel of Escape rooms, it was this. That was until recently when I had the pleasure of playing the superb Escape Simulator. I don’t know what it was about this new thing I enjoyed, but I needed a way to experience it again, but for some reason, there were no games based on it at the time, even though it fits the genre perfectly. Personally, I have been to one, maybe two, before lockdown occurred, but it was such a fantastic experience it was one of the few things I always said I needed to do again. One of the things I have missed from being in lockdown is Escape Rooms.
